Because I want to let my friends and family know that I am not up to anything either. Pedaling and living, taking and giving. Mostly taking.

A Stolen Story
I was in Austin that weekend for no particular reason. Wanted to visit the dudes, skate a bit, do some drinking, and maybe catch a swim. When I go to Austin in the summer those are the things I like to do.
The swimming part was why Landon and I were in his car, cruising around. We were looking for a spot to swim. Usually we just head over to 45th and Duval- there's an apartment pool there that is really decent, and nobody cares if you swim there without actually living in the complex. There used to be a huge, old oak hanging over that pool. Maybe it was one hundred years old, maybe one hundred and fifty. It's not there anymore- a storm damaged it a few years back and the management had to have it removed. History.
Anyway usually we just swam there. But on that day we wanted to mix it up, so we decided to drive around a bit and try to find some other place. Took a left, a couple of rights, I don't know. Ended up in the West Campus area. Ended up rolling down a back street, real slow, and accidentally and inopportunely driving right past a couple. A guy and a girl, to be exact, standing at their parked vehicle. Right in the street.
I say a couple because the guy and girl were obviously together- they were hugging. Really hugging- a very legitimate embrace that lasted for a really, really long time. We drove right up on them. It was an accident- we were just looking for a place to swim.
It was immediately awkward, and almost immediately confrontational. We made it awkward simply by being there and the guy made it confrontational by putting on a sour face and staring at us, like we were a couple of dicks or something. He was the dick, not us. We were just looking for a place to swim.
Some moments passed without anybody saying anything. Then the dick spoke.
"Well, what do you want, dude?", he asked Landon.
Landon took a second to formulate a response. I knew it would be good. Sometimes you just know.
"WHAT DO I WANT? I want you to kiss her. Kiss her, YOU BIG, DUMB, GOOFY BASTARD!" He yelled all of that. "Just kiss her already." He whispered that.
The guy just stood there, slack-jawed. Then his girlfriend started to laugh. She laughed like a fucking hyena. Then Landon and I started to laugh. Then we drove away.
