Because I want to let my friends and family know that I am not up to anything either. Pedaling and living, taking and giving. Mostly taking.

NYC- First Run
Waiting for the bus to NYC. Cold as f--- in Bodiesmore, Murderland.
First thing once we got in. Starting things off right. Fun fact- when a shark bites into its prey, it closes its eyes. I eat the same way.
In New York, they fill entire buildings with nose candy! Just kidding, salt for the roads.
Shell Bell with a real NYC bagel. And she picked it in under 5- a feat, to be sure. Girl's particular about her eats.
Louie's off to the races. This dude is pure energy 24-7. Our relationship started off rocky back in Austin, but now we are cozy as clams. Never grab a dog by the tail on the first date.
Dr. Death. Frosty appears to be a fan.
Praise Him! Didn't see the shop owner until after we snapped the pic. Sorry for the weirdness, sir.
Thought of Matt.
Shelley nabbed this one of Mr. Cuddly in a pet store. Looks irritated, but he actually wanted to play pretty badly.
Best buds, cold chillin'.
Shelley and red meat. An inseparable combo.
Thought of Hey Arnold. Not P.S. 118, but not far off. "My man Fuzzy Slippers told me, and you know, my man Fuzzy Slippers tells no lies."
Gotta love the ten-second delay. Ups to Shelley for perfect camera placement!
Baby Jesus with a, "What can ya do?"
Finally! A place to handle my blurry vision. Katie knows what I'm talking about.
Big guns. Really can't stand AC/DC these days. Not their fault, I wore them out when I was a little Caveman.
Not the Brooklyn Bridge, but pretty damn cool. Shelley showing us the palms of the coolest mittens on the East Coast.
Some things are the same no matter where you are.
A lot more to follow. Took a ton of pics, had a really great time. I needed to see some familiar faces badly, so this trip was really medicinal. Big ups to Megan and Bill for letting us crash, and to Haley M. and Kevin K. too! Old friends, new friends, it's always amazing. Buyakasha!

All you have, I gave you.
All you are, I made you.
All you've done, I pushed you.
All you've ever won, you owe to me.
All you've seen, I showed you.
All you've heard, I told you.
All you've learned, I taught you.
And all you want you beg for,
ON YOUR KNEES!
All your pain, you caused it.
All your heart, you lost it.
All your soul, you sold it.
All your bridges burned beyond repair.
All your words, you'll swallow.
All your threats, so hollow.
All your faith, untested.
All your squandered life,
YOU'LL NEVER LEARN.

First Snow Flurry
Going for the Juan in a Million "Don Juan" look- I think I got close. Not working bacon into it made the taste discernably different.
Looks like the holidays came early! Black Tusk and King Cobra, that's just a good time. Landon, don't get too J, dude!

Skateboarder, Ryan Smith
Do you feel like a person really has to pay their dues before truly understanding the concept of, "every day above the dirt is a good one?"
No. I feel there are some people that are born with humility and are thankful for everything in life and for each day. Paying dues in that sense sounds like an ego thing. I mean, almost dying because you were loaded certainly does not make you more entitled to appreciate life more by having a catchphrase.
Having gone through some personal trials and tribulations yourself, what kind of advice do you have for people that might be feeling sorry for themselves?
Stop thinking of yourself and help another human. Surprising how that feeling will melt away.

Do a Bunnyhop, yo!
Grocery shopping- Shelley walking hard.
"...before you break my heart!" Love that song.
Came across a bike guide book from the 1980's in an antique shop. It was full of rad images.
Like this one. Dude is roasting it. Notice the Critical Mass shirt- pretty dope! And the stem-bar fusion underneath the triangle handlebars- pretty doper!
Those bikes look so streamlined- so good. U.S.A all the way! Also, I'm growing a mustache now, dude third from the front is really inspiring me.
Hampden from a second-story window.
"Lift me if you're over 18." Even at 23 I'm still bashful. Didn't lift it.
The infamous black and white cookie. Ever since that Seinfeld episode I've wanted one in my life really badly. Bought a package of ten, got really ripped off, but I couldn't help it. They taste great.
