Roll Credits

On the way home from work today I didn't beat the Studemont light. So I had to sit under I-10 for a couple of minutes. This one homeless dude gets up from his seated position and starts walking across the intersection. He had the sleeves of his long-sleeved shirt rolled up, and on one of his forearms (can't remember which) he had a couple of "SS" lightning bolts. In my mind, that means one of two things- either 1) he feels differently about race and ethnicity than I do, or 2) he, at one point or another, was way into choppers and/or chopper culture. Just guesses.

Anyway, this dude walks across the intersection and looks at another homeless dude who appears to be sleeping. Homeless dude A walks up to sleeping homeless dude B and starts nudging him gently. Doesn't work. Dude nudges him a little more. Still nothing. At this point, I'm thinking, "Damn, this is a long light."

Eventually homeless dude A starts violently shaking homeless dude B. He shook that dude for a while, and that dude never opened his eyes, made a move, or responded in any way. Either homeless dude B was having the best/worst/most enveloping dream he ever had in his life, or he was dead.

The light changed and I went on my way, thinking the same thing I think at least twenty times every day- "Damn- I wish I had my camera."

Been listening to this album non-stop today. Shit just hits you, hits you, lays yo ass straight flat.

5 Sets. 6 Hours.

Crashing before I planned to. Topsy turvy. Tipsy turvy. Smelling you from all the way over here.

Didn't ride today. But if I had, I would've used this video as motivation. Chawk, ruling it.

It is up to the umpire to keep that ball as dry as possible, on this rain-soaked night.

The Color of a Dream I Had

Haven't been riding the bike the way I would like to. This makes me want to. Great song, too. Two.

25th and Main

We can sit on the porch. We can wash cars. We can barbecue, hang-dry our shit, and kick it with the neighbor's gigantic husky. HUGE backyard. Really bitching area. Retaliation is a must? Ramps are a must. Really, really excited.

But first, I'll need a drop of blood. Your blood.
