NYC- Final Run

Times Square. F***ing crazy.

Times Square II.

Army Man posing with the kids.

The Cookie Monster and somebody in a fuzzy, blue costume.

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree. Top on our to-see list. Pretty dope-sters!

Subway art I.

Subway art II.

The cutest little girl evaaaaaar! Felt weird snapping the photo, but I couldn't help it. Click to go big and smile like you haven't in a while.

My thoughts on the cold weather.

Corner in Megan and Bill's neighborhood. Taken on the way to the subway to leave the craziest city I've ever visited.

On the subway, headed for home. In that general direction, anyway. DEFINITELY my favorite photo of the trip. Shelley never looked like such a badass.

Ended the trip the same way we started it: in the pizza joint across the street from the bus, splitting a slice. Thanks again to Bill and Megan, and to all the new faces we met. Really good time, made more than a couple of memories.

NYC- Fifth Run

Stairs in the Soho hotel that Bill's folks stayed in. Pretty yar.

Bill and his pops at dinner. The Saxelbys treated all to an amazing dinner at an incredible joint whose name I cannot remember. It was awesome, though.

Some of the appetizers. The clams were bad frickin' ass.

Bill and Kevin K. with some prime cuts.

A clam toast by Shelley and Haley.

Shelley's wine, my beer. Good stuff.

Those two!

The steak was mind-bogglingly good.

Don't touch Haley's food.

NYC- Fourth Run

Soho in the background, Kevin K. in the right bottom. One of Bill's best buds and sincerely one of the funniest dudes I have ever met.

Subway life.

Bleak.

The boys in blue.

Newspapers.

Gotta do what the papers say.

Just kidding, momma. Prop gun! I'm too pretty for that s***.

NYC- Third Run

McDonald's Express- even faster than the fastest food on Earth.

"Dammit, Joseph! I know he's not your son, but this can't keep happening! I told you he's fast; you have got to keep your eyes on him!"

Shelley's in the foreground, mine in the back. Royal Diner. Really good.

Sunshine bursting through.

Temporary halos and nasty facial hair.

French toast for the lady, belgian waffle for the child.

For Katie.

The three amigos.

Apparently not just an Austin thing.

Dug the color/ texture.

Fighting the good fight.

Fighting hard!

NYC- Second Run

Nice ride.

Clean lines.

Dug the combo of texture and holiday cheer.

Pretty happy with this one.

Love my black and white cookies. This one was the most legit to date.

Megan and Bill's courtyard.

Thought of Kim. Hehehe so mean! But its true, she digs kimchi!

Possibly my favorite of the whole trip.

Shelley on the dock. Off to the right was the Statue of Liberty. Easily visible for us, but difficult to get a clear picture of. Steeped in histr'y!

Keep it moving, folks.
